Detox
Medically supervised detox at our partner facility helps you through withdrawal, with medication to ease symptoms when you need it.
Inpatient
In inpatient rehab, also called residential care, you live on site at our partner facility and follow a full daily schedule.
PHP
You spend most of the day in treatment at our Tustin office, then go home or to supported living each evening.
IOP
Intensive outpatient treatment at our Tustin office takes part of your week, so you can keep up with work, school and family.
Detox and inpatient rehab take place at Embrace Treatment Center (opens in a new tab), our sister facility, and Enhance admissions arranges your stay.

The assessment on the first call shows which level of care fits you, and your treatment plan is individualized from there. Admissions will also tell you if another provider would suit you better.
Outpatient care may fit if
- You can stay safe and away from use between sessions.
- You have a steady place to live and people who support you.
- You need to keep working, studying or caring for family.
- You are stepping down from detox or inpatient care.
Start with detox or inpatient if
- You get shaky, sick or anxious when you stop drinking or using.
- You use alcohol, benzodiazepines or opioids every day.
- You tried outpatient treatment before, and it was not enough.
- Staying away from alcohol or drugs is too hard while you live at home.

Master's and doctorate-level clinicians lead treatment, overseen by our medical director, Dr. Clifford Feldman, and our clinical director, Matthew Beck, LMFT.
Can it treat mental health and addiction together?
Yes. With dual diagnosis care, one team treats both at the same time, at every level of care.
What happens after the first level?
When you finish detox or inpatient rehab, you step down to the next level with Enhance instead of finding a new provider.

Will it tell you if another level fits better?

Where is Enhance located?

How do I know which level of care I need?
Admissions asks about your substance use, your mental health and your safety at home. They then recommend a level of care and check what your plan covers.
How do I choose between outpatient and intensive outpatient care?
IOP meets a few hours a day, several days a week, with morning or evening sessions. Outpatient therapy meets less often, and many people step down to it after IOP.
Can you treat addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions together?
Yes. Dual diagnosis care treats both at the same time, with one team, and it is available at every level Enhance provides.
What does treatment include?
Treatment is individualized and includes individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy with licensed therapists, and sessions are confidential. When medication helps, a licensed psychiatrist prescribes it and reviews how it is working.
Do you offer medical detox for alcohol?
Yes. Alcohol detox is medically supervised, with medication to ease withdrawal when you need it. Alcohol rehab then continues at the next level of care.
Can I join treatment by video instead of driving?
Yes. Virtual PHP, IOP and outpatient care run by video, and admissions can tell you whether virtual care fits what you need.
Can I keep working during outpatient treatment?
IOP and outpatient therapy are built to fit around work, and IOP has morning or evening sessions. Your employer's HR team can tell you what leave your job offers.
How do I verify my insurance benefits before I start?
Call or send the form with your insurance details, and the admissions team contacts your insurer. They then explain your deductible, your copay and which level your plan supports.
Will my insurance cover rehab?
Coverage depends on your plan, your deductible, your copay and the level your insurer approves. Admissions checks your benefits first, and a verification is not a guarantee of coverage.
Can admissions check a PPO insurance plan?
Yes. Admissions can check a PPO insurance plan, an HMO plan or another type of plan, and tell you what it covers. Enhance is in network with most insurance plans, and benefits vary by plan.
What should I have ready before I call?
Your name, a phone number and your insurance card help most, and your member ID and date of birth help admissions check benefits. You can also call with none of these.
