How admissions works

What happens between your first call and the start of treatment

There are four steps, and you decide at each one whether to keep going.

  1. You reach admissions

Call or text our admissions line, email us, or send the form, and tell us as much or as little as you want.

  2. We check your benefits

With your permission, we contact your insurance company to find out what your plan covers for treatment.

  3. We explain what it means

Admissions explains your deductible, your copay and the level of care your plan supports, and whether our programs fit what you need.

  4. You decide

If you want to go ahead, admissions walks you through the next steps and answers anything you still want to ask.

If there is immediate danger, call 988 or go to the nearest emergency room first.

Questions people ask admissions

If your question is not answered here, call admissions at (714) 862-1907.

  • Can I call about a family member?

Yes, you can call about a loved one. Have their insurance card nearby, and admissions can check their benefits and explain their options.

  • Does a benefits check mean my insurance will pay?

No. A benefits check tells you what your plan says it covers, and the final decision about payment stays with your insurance company.

  • Which levels of care do you offer?

We offer detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient therapy and virtual care. Admissions helps you decide where to start.

  • Do you treat mental health and substance use together?

Yes. Our dual diagnosis programs treat a mental health condition and substance use at the same time, with one treatment team.

  • Can I do treatment online?

Yes. Individual, group and family sessions are available online, so you can take part from home when that suits you better.

  • Is what I tell admissions kept private?

Yes. What you tell admissions is kept confidential, and you can share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

  • Where is Enhance Health Group?
