What mental health and addiction services does Aetna typically cover?
Aetna plans generally cover a wide range of medically necessary services, including detoxification, inpatient and residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and individual and group therapy sessions.
Do I need a referral from my doctor to get treatment?
